In celebration of the Musée d’Orsay and Musée de l’Orangerie, AFMO invites all members, patrons and friends to join and partake in its upcoming benefit weekend.

From October 17 to October 20, 2024, guests will be invited to a selection of exclusive events, private visits, and behind-the-scenes tours, including Gustave Caillebotte. Painting Men and Harriet Backer (1845-1932). Music of colors at the Musée d’Orsay and Heinz Berggruen: a dealer and his collection at the Musée de l’Orangerie.

This year again, the Gala weekend comes in two formats:

  • a three-day option, Thursday thru Saturday (Gala evening included)

  • a four-day option, Thursday thru Sunday (Gala evening included)

On October 19, 2024, the gala evening will mark the closing of both our Impressionist season and the 150th anniversary of Impressionism on a highly festive note, including a unique menu creation by Alain Ducasse and his team.

This fall, the Musée d’Orsay will also present an exceptional Gustave Caillebotte exhibition, honoring not only a much admired Impressionist but also a patron who helped his artist friends and bequeathed his Impressionist collection to the French State, including the famous Moulin de la Galette on display at the Musée d’Orsay.
