One Membership,
Two Museums
All annual AFMO memberships are dual, and include:
Complimentary skip-the-line admission to both the Musée d’Orsay and the Musée de l’Orangerie (permanent collections and temporary exhibitions) all year round (Musée d’Orsay: Tuesday through Sunday, and Musée de l’Orangerie: Wednesday through Monday)
Before-hours access to the Musée d’Orsay as of 9:00 AM (Tuesday through Sunday)
Reduced prices in the museum stores (5%), restaurants (10%), and on audio guides (20%)
Memberships come with a range of benefits based on the contribution:
Sponsor ($1,000)
Patron ($2,500)
Benefactor ($5,000)
International Collector ($10,000)
Chairman’s Circle ($20,000)
Donors may choose to opt out of all benefits (also known as goods and services): if so, their contribution will be fully tax-deductible. They will enjoy skip-the-line access to both museums in acknowledgement of their generosity and support.
Young Patrons and Families
Young patrons can join at Avant-Garde level. They enjoy the benefits listed above as well as invitations to a number of AFMO events, including the gala weekend (at additional cost) and the open house evening, throughout the year.
Young families with children who wish to support the Orsay and Orangerie museums may contribute $500 (fully tax-deductible) in support of the museums or the Holidays at the Orsay children’s program. As supporters of the museum, they will enjoy skip-the-line access with their children when in Paris.
Events
AFMO holds private tours all year round. Access to private tours and events as well as day trips is based on the membership level.
The annual benefit weekend is held in Paris every October. The 2025 benefit weekend edition will be held on October 23-26. The annual gala will be held on October 25 at the Musée d’Orsay.
AFMO also holds cultural trips every year. Access and priority registration to those trips are based on the membership level.
The next AFMO trip will be held in October. Guests will head to Reims in the footsteps of Victor Hugo to discover a former royal town rich in art, architecture and savoir-faire.
AFMO is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a section 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charitable organization (#27-0493043).
