Membership

In keeping with AFMO’s mission to raise awareness and support both museums, members of the Avant-Garde group support both Musées d’Orsay and de l’Orangerie and have access to exclusive young patrons’ events to celebrate both fine art and French-American friendship.

AFMO proudly supports Holidays at the Orsay, a unique bilingual children’s program to entertain and nurture art amongst the museum’s younger visitors.

Avant-Garde memberships are for individuals aged 20 to 45 years old only.

In acknowledgement of their contribution, Avant-Garde members enjoy skip-the-line entrance to both the Musée d’Orsay and Musée de l’Orangerie (permanent collections and temporary exhibitions) throughout the year *.

As AFMO members, they also enjoy

  • Family-friendly events for parents and children (Paris) **

  • Invitations to on site and off site private tours ** (some may be at additional cost)

  • Special access and invitations to the fundraising Gala weekend, held in Paris every October (program to be confirmed, at additional cost).

Family Fellowship

Young parents (under 45) making a $500 donation (fully tax deductible) to AFMO in support of the Museums enjoy skip-the-line access for themselves and their children (children must be under 18) at both the Musée d’Orsay and the Musée de l’Orangerie, including in high season.

Their fully tax-deductible donation does not entitle them to any AFMO members’ benefits.

* Children under 18 enjoy free access to the Orsay and Orangerie museums.
