Seasonal Events: celebrating the two museums
Each spring, AFMO opens the doors of the museums to its members and art enthusiasts for an exclusive evening open house, including private tours of temporary exhibitions and a cocktail reception. And every autumn, patrons gather in Paris for an exclusive Weekend in Paris and an exceptional Gala evening at the Musée d’Orsay.
Day trips are also organized to discover heritage sites, museums, artists' studios in resonance with the collections of the Orsay and Orangerie museums.
Seasonal events are open to AFMO members and patrons by invitation only.

Gala Weekend in Paris
Every autumn, AFMO patrons and guests gather in Paris for an exceptional fundraising weekend and Gala evening in support of the two museums and in celebration of French-American friendship.
Th next Gala weekend will be held from October 23 to 0ctober 26, 2025.

Spring Trip to Provence
May 10-17, 2025
Following our 2024 spring trip to Normandy, AFMO members embarked on a trip to Provence in the footsteps of Vincent Van Gogh and Cézanne. Visits included Saint-Rémy de Provence, Arles, Camargue, Les Saintes-Maries, Château La Coste, Aix-en-Provence, and Montagne Sainte-Victoire.

Springtime Open House
June 11, 2025 7:00-10:00PM
AFMO will host its annual open house at the Musée d’Orsay on June 11, 2025. Patrons, members, and partners can enjoy private viewings the museum’s temporary exhibitions, Art is in the Street and Christian Krohg. People of the North, and elegant cocktails in the nave.
