Calder. Rêver en Équilibre @Fondation Louis Vuitton

  • Fondation Louis Vuitton 8 Avenue du Mahatma Gandhi Paris, IDF, 75116 France (map)

On June 11, we will visit Calder. Rêver en Équilibre at the Fondation Louis Vuitton, a major anniversary exhibition celebrating the visionary work of Alexander Calder. Spanning five decades, the presentation brings together nearly 300 works — from the playful Cirque Calder to the monumental mobiles and stabiles that redefined modern sculpture. Suspended within the building’s soaring spaces designed by Frank Gehry, Calder’s works animate the galleries through movement, light, and balance. The exhibition situates Calder’s radical approach within the broader avant-garde, highlighting his enduring influence on the evolution of abstraction and public art.

Please join us for a guided visit of Calder. Rêver en Équilibre at the Fondation Louis Vuitton on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 10am
