“Eugène Boudin, the father of Impressionism: a private collection” @Musée Marmotttan Monet

  • Musée Marmottan Monet 2 Rue Louis Boilly Paris, IDF, 75016 France (map)

The Musee Marmottan’s spring 2025 exhibition, Eugène Boudin, the father of Impressionism: a private collection showcases collector Yann Guyonwarc’h’s unrivaled collection of works by Eugène Boudin. The works in this prestigious collection represent every stage of Boudin’s career—from early works created in Le Havre to those painted on his final trip to Venice, from private sketches from paintings created for the Salon. Thanks to the participation of the Durand-Ruel archives, the relationship between the two artists and their main dealer is also explored.

Please join us at the Musée Marmottan Monet for a private tour of Eugène Boudin, the father of Impressionism: a private collection on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 9:30am.

This event is open to AFMO Members at the Patron-level and above.

All invitations are personal and non-transferable.
