Sèvres, une passion Rothschild. De Paris à la Villa Ephrussi @ Mobilier National

  • Mobilier National 1 Rue Berbier du Mets Paris, IDF, 75013 France (map)

Since the beginning of the 19th century, the Rothschilds have been synonymous with luxury, elegance, and art. In France, one speaks of the ‘goût Rothschild’, designating the distinct taste characteristic of the family’s consecutive generations.

Anticipated as one of the finest exhibitions of the year, “Sèvres, une passion Rothschild. De Paris à la Villa Ephrussi” benefits from prestigious loans from the Louvre Museum, the Palace of Versailles, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, Waddesdon Manor, as well as loans from private collectors. It unveils the history of this family’s treasures which passed through the hands of kings and their mistresses before being acquired by the Rothschilds.

Join us on May 29 for an exclusive, before hours curated tour of this exceptional exhibition at the Mobilier National.

Event reserved for AFMO Patron-level members and above. To register, please email membership@aforsay.org.
