Highlights
-
Museum Projects: contributing to the present and future of both museums
All year long, AFMO accompanies and supports the Orsay and Orangerie Museums in their projects, from art and educational projects to newly refurbished welcome spaces.
-
Patron Pass Tours: sharing insightful art moments
Raising awareness is at the heart of AFMO’s mission. To share and enhance unique art moments with its patrons, the foundation hosts members-only events every month (from September to July), such as private tours of exhibitions at the Orsay and the Orangerie and offsite visits in Paris and in the U.S.
-
Art History Lectures: understanding art within the historical context
Each online lecture focuses on art history movements, trends, events or characters that are relevant to the periods covered by both the Orsay and the Orangerie.
The lectures bring new insight on these amazing times of political, economic, social and cultural changes.
-
Seasonal Events: celebrating the two museums
AFMO hosts seasonal “rendez-vous” to discover and enjoy art, heritage and art de vivre at its best. These events by invitation only are open to members, patrons and guests. They participate in AFMO’s fundraising efforts on behalf of the Musée d’Orsay and Musée de l’Orangerie.
