A benefit in support of the Musée d’Orsay and the Musée de l’Orangerie
Every year, AFMO’s A Weekend in Paris brings together a vibrant community of art lovers, collectors, and patrons to celebrate the artistic dialogue between France and the United States. Over several exceptional days, guests enjoy a program designed in support of the Musée d’Orsay and the Musée de l’Orangerie, with privileged access to the season’s landmark exhibitions and events. Our guest participate in a selection of private conversations, exclusive visits, and immersive encounters highlighting fine art, French savoir-faire, and cultural heritage.
From October 22nd to October 25th, 2026, guests will attend a selection of exclusive events, private visits, and behind-the-scenes tours celebrating art, savoir-faire, and art de vivre. Highlights will include private viewings of the Musée d’Orsay’s autumn 2026 exhibitions, including the Musée de l’Orangerie’s autumn exhibition Monet. Painting Time.
As per tradition, the celebratory gala evening on Saturday, October 24th, 2026, will see guests immersing themselves in a private evening of artistic celebration at the Musée d'Orsay. Following an exclusive cocktail reception in the nave, guests will be able to enjoy private viewings of two captivating autumn exhibitions: Mary Cassatt. The Choice of Independence and Auguste Bartholdi. Enlightening the World. Guests will then proceed to the Restaurant’s elegant dinning room, where they will partake in an exclusive dinner prepared by Michelin-starred chef Alain Ducasse’s team.

2026: A special year
As 2026 marks the 40th anniversary of the Musée d’Orsay, several events will be held highlighting the unique aspects of our museum’s permanent collection, including tours centered around decorative arts, sculpture, and photography. Following this same line of thinking, our Friday night cocktail celebrating French-American friendship will, for the first time, be held at the Musée Rodin. Guests will have the opportunity to stroll through the museum, discovering or rediscovering Auguste Rodin’s creations and collection, before enjoying a cocktail crafted by our partner the Ritz Paris.
Other highlights will include:
• Luxury heritage: high jewellery houses and perfume designer’s lab
• Couture: visit of an iconic Parisian designer’s private apartment
• Cooking classes at the Ecole Ritz Escoffier and Ecole Ducasse
• Breakfast at a private historical hôtel particulier.
