Cezanne and Us, at the Grand Palais

  • Grand Palais Paris, Île-de-France, 75008 France (map)

This fall, the Grand Palais, in collaboration with the Musée d’Orsay, the Musée de l’Orangerie and the Centre Pompidou, will present an exhibition dedicated to the beloved artist, Paul Cezanne. With a strong historiographical focus, the exhibition will trace the artist’s legacy, covering milestones in his recognition both in France and abroad, examining Cezanne less as a figure of impressionism and more as one of the emerging symbolist movement. “Cezanne as seen by” is the exhibition’s common thread, alternating re-creations of historical presentations and rooms in which works are confronted with each other in a stronger aesthetic focus. As a result, visitors are provided with a retrospective reinterpretation of Cezanne’s body of work, through the prism of a resolutely contemporary perspective.

Join us on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 2:00PM, for an exclusive tour of Cezanne and us at the Grand Palais.

Event reserved for AFMO Patron-level members and above.

Non-Members may register at an additional cost.
