Claire Chesnier - Private Studio Visit

French artist Claire Chesnier conceives painting as a physical and poetic act, developing a rhythmic and tactile approach connected to her lifelong engagement with music, writing, and dance. Her luminous, abstract canvases reveal themselves through subtle layers of color and rhythmic gesture, producing works in which emotion and sensation are inseparable from form.

Chesnier’s painting 140223 was featured in the Musée de l’Orangerie’s 2025 exhibition Out of Focus alongside major modern and contemporary artists. The artist welcomes AFMO members and guests into her studio, offering a rare opportunity to experience these evocative works firsthand and to learn about her the process behind her distinctive works.

Please join us for this exclusive studio Claire Chesnier on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at 7pm.

Event reserved for AFMO Sponsor-level members and above.

All invitations are personal and non-transferable.
