Opening Cocktail at the Musée de l’Orangerie
As per tradition, the 2026 rendition of AFMO’s Gala Weekend opens with a cocktail at the Musée de l’Orangerie. Guests will not only attend an elegant cocktail reception, they will also have the opportunity to enjoy a private viewing of a newly opened exhibition: Monet. Painting Time. To mark the centenary of Monet’s death, this exhibition will focus on the relationship between time and Monet’s works. A selection of almost forty of Monet’s paintings, mostly from the Musée d’Orsay’s and Musée Marmottan Monet’s collections, along with loans from French and international public and private collections, will highlight the successive phases of his artistic career, with particular emphasis on the Nymphéas.

A Celebration of French-American Friendship at the Musée Rodin
For the first time, AFMO’s Friday night cocktail celebrating French-American friendship will be held at the Musée Rodin. The museum has the distinctive feature of being in a location chosen by the artist, Auguste Rodin. The Hôtel Biron, a rococo mansion built in 1732, was practically abandoned when Rodin discovered it in 1908. He began by renting the four ground-floor rooms, before taking over the whole building from 1911 onwards. In doing so, he had laid the foundations for what would become, in August 1919, the Musée Rodin.
AFMO invites their guests to an exclusive, private cocktail at this iconic Parisian landmark where they may discover the museum’s permanent collection before toasting to Parisian lifestyle and heritage.

Benefit Gala Evening at the Musée d’Orsay
Originally constructed for the grand stage of the 1900 World Fair, the Gare d’Orsay served a dual purpose, functioning as both a cutting-edge train station and a luxury hotel for travelers. The elegant Belle Epoque-style restaurant we know today was the splendid dining venue of this hotel. AFMO and the Musée d’Orsay welcome their guests to immerse themselves in a private evening of artistic celebration at the Musée d'Orsay. Following an exclusive cocktail reception in the nave, guests will be able to enjoy private viewings of two captivating autumn exhibitions: Mary Cassatt. Being Independent and Auguste Bartholdi. Enlightening the World. Guests will then proceed to the Restaurant, where they will partake in an exclusive dinner set within the restaurant's elegant dining room. The menu for this special occasion has been thoughtfully crafted by the renowned Alain Ducasse and his team.
